One of the most dangerous myths about leadership is that leaders are born. This is because there is a genetic element to leadership. This myth states that charismatic traits are either innate or acquired. This myth is false. In fact, it’s the reverse. Leaders are not born, but made. – Warren G. Bennis

What is it that makes a leader a great leader? Does it mean someone who is a leader? Does it have the ability to make people do things that they don’t want? Does it have a great handshake?

These are all important aspects of being a leader, including the handshake. But many people neglect the spiritual side of leadership.

Spiritual business leadership doesn’t have to be religious. This simply means that the leader has a close relationship with their inner self. If we are willing to listen, every one of us can find an inner guide to help us navigate our lives.

George Scorsis Florida who feel in touch with their own feelings and intuitions are more likely make the right business decisions. You’ve probably been in a situation where you were unsure of something due to a voice inside your head. Did you listen to the voice in your head or ignore it? You’ll regret it later, but I bet you wish that you had listened!

Many of us spend the majority of our time at work. The workplace is full of stress, deadlines and people who are not in agreement with you. These things are all well-known to leaders, but the best ones don’t seem to be affected by them. Why? What makes them different than you and me? They are one with their core self and can work around or over distractions.

What is your purpose? Is it to own a luxurious house or to make a million dollars? Is it to have a family? Is it creating a successful financial business? Finding joy is everyone’s true purpose in life. Joy is in all that you do. Your work place should be filled with joy. Although it may not be true for everyone, good leaders should be able provide this for their employees.

Many business leaders realize that spirit is essential for success in the workplace. Without it, work becomes dull and meaningless. Leaders who have a strong sense for spirit are responsible to their employees to create a work environment that fosters integrity, morality, and community.
